Who we are
We are a team of change-makers who believe that every child can be enlightened and create a better future for them.
We offer extending assistance to the kids and youth who were eager to fulfill their Harvard dreams. This moment is intensified when we found that there are many such kids and youth needed help with guidance, enlightenment and encouragement.
We run amazing Harvard Immersion Study Tours that enlighten and inspire youth from across multiple backgrounds, invite Harvard & MIT students and professors to inspire the kids by sharing their study experience, encourage our kids and youth to get the essence of education, and we make the world a better place together!
Our Harvard Team
Aaron Luo
Aaron Luo is a doctoral student at Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, focusing on interdisciplinary research in Artificial Intelligence and Biology. He received his undergraduate degree in Statistics from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). After graduating with the highest honor and first place in his major, he continued the academic journey by pursuing a PhD degree at Harvard.
Aside from his academic pursuits, Aaron has a strong interest in entrepreneurship. He received investment and incubation from a venture capital in China, and currently serves as a member of the Harvard Venture Capital Club.
Ally Zhang
Ally Zhang is a Canadian and American board-certified Registered Dietitian, and is currently a Master of Public Health student at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
After completing her undergraduate degree at McGill University, she worked as a Public Health Dietitian in Ontario to plan and operate programs that promote the health of the under 18-year-old population. During this time, she also briefly worked part-time in long-term care as a Clinical Dietitian during the height of the pandemic.
In her spare time, she offers online nutrition consultations, and have worked on 2 startup projects that started through MIT hackathons/pitch competitions.
Benjamin Landauer
Benjamin Landauer is a doctoral student in Harvard’s East Asian Languages and Civilizations program. He studies Chinese poetry of the Six Dynasties period, with an emphasis on the relationship between poetic composition and musical performance contexts, as well as a focus on the influence of premodern media environments.
He also researches women’s Sinitic Poetry from China, Korea, and Japan of the Early Modern period. He also works on contemporary Chinese poetry and rap music. He holds degrees from Reed College (BA, 2017), Nanjing University (MA, 2019), and Harvard University (MA, 2021).
Jiahui Qiu
Jiahui Qiu is a graduate student from Harvard University Graduate School of Design studying urban design, specifically architecture design. She received her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Xiamen University. Before studying at Harvard, she had internship and work experience in real estate, consulting companies and architecture firms.
Studying at Harvard gives her different opportunities to take various courses between MIT and Harvard. These courses attract her to learn more about other areas and make new friends. Furthermore, enriched experiences support her in further exploration of major and planning of future career.
Tomoki Matsuno
Tomoki is a sophomore at Harvard, studying Environmental Science and Public Policy. He is an international student from Japan interested in examining policy-making methodologies implemented in East Asia. His policy focus includes energy and international security.
In 2019, he served as a Youth Representative at G20 Summit.
On campus, he is a Founder & President of the Harvard Undergraduate Japan Policy Network, Ambassador at the Center for International Development, and Analyst at Harvard College Impact Investing Group.
Qianru Yang
Qianru Tiffany Yang is a PhD Candidate in the Human Development, Learning and Teaching program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Tiffany graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a B.A. in psychology in 2016. She then earned her Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2018.
Driven to close the gender and SES achievement gap in STEM, Tiffany is particularly interested in the effects of home learning environment and parental input on children’s mathematical and cognitive development. Additionally, she hopes to understand how children develop STEM-related stereotypes and how these beliefs influence their learning outcomes.
Minjue Wu
Minjue Wu recently graduated Harvard College magna cum laude with a double major in the History of Science in Medicine & Society and Molecular & Cellular Biology with a minor in Computer Science. She served on the board of directors for eight national and international nonprofits while at Harvard, including Harvard Global Alliance for Medical Innovation, a 501(c)3 founded in Harvard Business School’s Innovation Labs. She is passionate about interdisciplinary approaches to the medical humanities, mental health, technology policy, and public service. Wu original hails from Anhui, China and will be working at Boston Consulting Group as an Associate in the Greater New Jersey Area.
Yaxuan Sun
Yaxuan Sun, a registered dietitian in Canada and the US, is an MPH (Master of Public Health) Candidate in Nutrition at Harvard University. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in dietetics from McGill University in Canada, she furthered her studies in a Master of Science program from Columbia University. She has a great passion and knowledge in a wide range of nutrition areas, including children’s healthy eating, sports nutrition, chronic disease management & prevention.
Aside from her academic pursuits, Yaxuan has rich work experience in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and government departments. With a great passion for nutrition and public health, she is eager to offer her talents in building up healthy lifestyles.
Our Montreal Team
Guodong Zhang
Co-founder
Guodong is a co-founder of ECC. He holds a bachelor degree in Economics from Peking University and MBA from Beijing Jiaotong University.
After getting his MBA, he established Hanloong consulting company(hanloong.com) in Beijing and worked as a team leader for 7 years. During 2008-2011, he worked as a partner in ALLPKU Consulting Group. He traveled around China and US, experienced various cultures and customs, and accumulated impressive experience through successful projects.
Based on his experience in Chinese cultural and creative projects, Guodong built Loongese.com in 2016 to distribute Eastern culture. In 2019, he established the physical creative space of Loongese in Laval.
In 2016, he founded ECC with partners. From 2023, he runs Harvard Immersion Study Tours (Harvard.im) that help enlighten and inspire youth from across multiple backgrounds.
Juan Guan
Co-founder
Juan is a co-founder of ECC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Communication University of China, a Master of Arts in Communication from Tsinghua University, and a Master of Science in Management from Concordia University.
Dedicated to culture and education with patience and enthusiasm for years, Juan has worked in Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and Concordia University to accumulate expertise in management and education.
As an entrepreneur with mission and vision, Juan co-established ECC and Loongese in 2016 and 2019 respectively and has been committed to culture and youth education.
As a mother and a student-centered educator, Juan believes that students could get great progression, inspiration and inner motivation from the immersive and interactive Harvard Immersion Study Tours.
Loong Sun
Co-founder
Mr. Sun is a co-founder of ECC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication technology from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a master’s degree in mathematics from Ocean University of China. He immigrated to Canada in 2010.
Since 2012, He has been engaged in international study and immigration projects. He cooperated with a private high school in Shenzhen and a public high school in Shandong for many years.
For the past 15 years, he has accompanied his daughter to grow from an ordinary girl to a graduate student at Harvard. As a father, he has given his daughter the greatest support in every improvement.
To share his experience in education and help those who are in need, he co-established Harvard Immersion Study Tours to support the students to learn self-management and self-motivation and enlighten their future.
Junjie Zhang
Co-founder
Ms. Zhang Junjie is a co-founder of ECC. She has a bachelor degree in computer software from Shenyang Aerospace University and a master degree in precision instruments from Tianjin University. She Immigrated to Canada in 2007.
Since 2012, She have been engaged in international study and immigration projects. She has cooperated with a private high school in Shenzhen and a public high school in Shandong for many years.
In the past 15 years, she has witnessed her daughter grow from an ordinary girl to a graduate student at Harvard University.
As a mother, she is very proud of her daughter. To share education experience and to help those in need, she co-established Harvard Immersion Study Tours, using the power of role models to enhance children’s internal motivation and help to shape a wonderful future!

Our mission is to Cultivate Future Elites and Make the World a Better Place.
Based in the Montreal area, we are committed to bring local youth to get immersion into Harvard & MIT campus, introducing high-quality teaching and intellectual resources from Harvard & MIT, enhancing innovation, entrepreneurship projects and academic exchanges between Canadian communities and Harvard & MIT, and building a bridge for multiple exchanges and cooperations between Harvard & MIT and Canada.
